The hotel

We have two accessible room types: the One Queen Bed, Accessible and the Two Queen Beds, Accessible. Both have:

• a lowered bed and shelving
• grab rails in the bathroom area
• a wider doorway
• accessible parking directly outside the room

There are a limited number of these rooms and they cannot be held unless you ask for one, so please request it when booking rather than on arrival. Call the front desk on (805) 735-7731 and we will tell you what is free on your dates.

Service animals are welcome throughout, and are not treated as pets.

What we have not yet verified

This hotel joined Oceanic Enterprises in September 2026. We have described the accessible rooms as the hotel describes them, and we are working through the rest of the building — door widths, the route from the parking spaces, the pool surround, the bathroom layouts and the Bistro — so that we can tell you exact measurements rather than reassuring words.

Until then, please call and ask. If you tell us what you need, the front desk will go and look rather than guess. If something here turns out to be wrong, we would like to hear about it: it is the fastest way for us to fix both the building and this page.

This website

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That covers our own pages; the booking window is provided by Oracle, and is described separately below.

• Text and background colours are measured against the contrast minimum rather than eyeballed.
• Every control can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the focus outline is never removed.
• The menu works without JavaScript. The booking window does need JavaScript; without it, the booking button takes you to Oracle’s booking page instead.
• Animation is kept out of the way of anyone who has asked their system to reduce motion.
• Photographs carry real descriptions; decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers rather than described pointlessly.

If any part of this website gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it — and in the meantime we will give you whatever is on that page over the telephone.

The booking window

Online booking opens a window provided by Oracle Hospitality, whose system runs our reservations. We did not build it, and we have not tested it against WCAG 2.1 AA, so we cannot make the same promises for it as for the rest of this site. It can be closed with its close button or the Escape key.

If the booking window does not work for you, call us on (805) 735-7731 and we will make the booking with you — and please ask for an accessible room that way, so that we can hold it for you.
